Finishing my second career

Hi everyone! English is not my mother tongue, but I will do my best :D In July of 2019 I will be finishing my second career. I am a little nervious about laboral life. I am 31 years old and sometimes I don´t wanna think about adult life. Please not missunderstand me ... I am a very responsible person, but I am very scared about people with bad intentions in the work. What do you think about them? Any experience about that? How did you handled it?

I am going to get real personal with this answer. I had to deal with a situation when I came across people with bad intentions. When I was 19, got hired at a deli and found out I was being belittled and torn down by the owner and one of his employees a week and a half after I got hired. I was never fired, but I never was even asked to come back into work again. They went out of business a few months later. What was supposed to be my first job, turned out to be a disaster. It sounds hard to believe but it really happened. It really made my self-confidence and self-worth levels drop. It bothered me for a few months. Eventually I had started college and found my sense of purpose again.

Unfortunately, I think we all can easily come across people like that at some point in life and some situations are worse than others. It is a really bad feeling to go through such a situation but I also learned some new things. I mainly learned that I definitely did not want to work with food and customer service. As simple as this might sound, I pushed on with life. I had to look at it as just another bump in the road. I handled through self talk and taking on the new opportunities in my academics. I starting making ways for myself to gain as much knowledge of many different topics as I could. I fueled myself with the love of learning and through a lot of self talk. You may have to deal with people with bad intentions in life, but there is something to always remember. It is about how you respond. Do something for yourself that makes you feel good and boosts you into a force to be reckoned with :)

Hi! Thank you for answering. When I was younger, I worked in a lot of different jobs... Fast food too, and was a very bad experience but, I learned very much. I can understand you about that. I finished my first career and I realised that it wasn't what I want to do the rest of my life. I worked 2 year in that profession and then I take the desition of study again, but this time, what I want. For this reason, this time is so important for me find a goos job. Thank you very much for your words... I will do my best :D
