start your learning journey here!
Hello everyone! My name is Mariana and I am the founder and manager of Mariana's Study Corner - a small community of people focused on studying, learning and self-development. The Corner started in 2015 with a note-taking video that made me feel inspired to create more content in an area I have always been passionate about - learning. If you want to know more about me, or about what I am studying at the moment, click here.
If you've stumbled upon this website to find quick solutions for your academic mishaps, you will find shortage of advice here. Although there are a couple of posts about cramming last-minute for an exam, our philosophy is to build a learning journey that lasts throughout your years of study.
What's the Learning Journey?
Our belief is that learning should not be an individualized process framed by the years you spend at school. The way you organize your time and set goals for the future dictates the everlasting impact you want to make on your life and the life of others. Independently of the career you want to pursue, learning more and staying curious is the healthiest way to live a happy, fulfilling life.
how can I start?
Although there is no "correct" resource to start your learning journey, we will admittedly redirect you to Mariana's Study Corner on YouTube, where you will find more than 150 videos about studying, learning and planning.
Afterwards, you can check our resources page, where we list tons of different apps, websites, programs, worksheets, PDF documents and tools that can help you master your studying habits once and for all.
The blog here at the Corner has new posts every week about how to develop your skills even further. You can also use the Forum to share your experiences with the community, learn new things and be challenged to accomplish goals you never thought you could dream of accomplishing!
There is also a Bookclub with two different approaches: an annual edit with twenty books that you can read in any order you want throughout the year and a monthly challenge. Although these books aren't necessarily related to studying and are mostly comprised of good contemporary fiction, classics and a couple of crazy titles, I believe that reading is a huge part of the learning process, so I want to share that with you, too.
Finally, make sure to follow The Corner on Instagram if you want your regular dose of motivation, updates and study tips.
Good luck on your journey!
